Our Local Events

Where Sisterhood Meets Purpose, Healing, and Real Connection

​

Every month, D.A.B. Ministries creates intentional spaces for young ladies and adult women to gather, grow, and flourish.  These local events are designed to nurture the whole woman - spirit, soul, and purpose - while fostering genuine community and God-centered sisterhood.  Each  gathering provides women with opportunities to exhale, engage, learn, laugh, and rediscover the power God placed within them.

Whether we are sitting around a table sharing stories, painting through pain, or mapping out our next God-ordained steps, these events remind every woman that she is still crowned, and still becoming everything God designed her to be.

Below are some of the signature monthly gatherings that continue to shape and strengthen the women connected to D.A.B. Ministries.  Hosted by Pastor Denise A. Bethea

Vision Board & Conversations

Brush & Blessings
(Painting Sistership)

A relaxed, real-talk space for women to connect, converse, and grow together.

  • A monthly fellowship where women come together over food, fun, and honest conversation.

  • A safe space to discuss real-life experiences, victories, struggles, relationships, faith, healing, and purpose.

  • Designed to break isolation and build authentic sisterhood - no masks, no judgment, just women encouraging women.

  • Allows women to walk away refreshed, inspired, and spiritually strengthened.

  • Provides opportunities to form friendships, mentorships, and accountability with like-minded women.

  • Cultivates a supportive community where every voice is valued and every story matters.

A creative and powerful experience of declaring your future and speaking life into your next season.

  • A hands-on workshop where women create vision boards rooted in faith, intention, and God's promises.

  • Encourages participants to reflect on who they are becoming, what they're believing God for, and how they want to grow.

  • Guided conversations help women articulate dreams, goals, and spiritual desires with clarity and courage.

  • Promotes accountability - reminding women to align their daily actions with their vision and purpose.

  • A space to dream boldly, without apology - to see your future before you step into it.

  • Women leave with a tangible reminder of what God will accomplish in their lives as they trust Him and move in faith.

A soothing, creative escape designed to refresh the spirit and heal the heart.

  • A relaxing painting experience filled with music, encouragement, and laughter.

  • Offers women the chance to express themselves creatively and release tension in a peaceful environment.

  • A blend of art and inspiration - each stroke becomes symbolic of healing, renewal, and transformation.

  • Devotional moments or a short uplifting message connect the artistic experience back to God's grace and purpose.

  • Helps participants discover the beauty of rest, reflection, and the joy of creating something with their own hands.

  • Strengthens community as women paint, share stories, pray together, and celebrate each other's unique creativity.

Each gathering is crafted with intention and purpose to uplift, inspire, and build women from the inside out.

Crown Conversations - faith-based discussions that. tackle real topics with transparency.

  • Sisterhood Saturday Outings - community events, brunches, walks, or service projects.

  • Healing Circles - guided moments of release, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

  • Faith & Fitness Sessions - movement-based gatherings for physical and spiritual strength.

  • Prayer & Purpose Nights - intimate gatherings for intercession, journaling, and worship.

  • Crown on Book Club for Becoming - monthly readings that provoke growth  and ignite transformation. Every event is created with one mission: to empower women to live boldly, love deeply, heal honestly, grow intentionally, and walk confidently in their God-given identity.
