WHAT WE BELIEVE

At D.A.B. Ministries and the Women of Worth Empowerment & Worship Conference, we stand firmly and unapologetically on the unshakable foundation of the Word of God. We are a body of believers who live, serve, and walk by faith in Jesus Christ, and we boldly declare the following truths:

We Believe in the One True and Living God

God is the Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." ~ Genesis 1:1
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." ~ 1 John 5:7 (KJV)

We Believe Jesus Christ is Lord

He is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atonement for sin, rose from the dead, and will return again in glory.

"Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." ~ John 14:6
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ~ Romans 5:8

We Believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God

It is our final authority for faith, instruction, and living.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." ~ 2 Timothy 3:16
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path." ~ Psalm 119:105

We Believe in Salvation by Grace Through Faith

Salvation is a free gift from God, receive through repentance and belief in Jesus Christ,

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." ~ Ephesians 2:8
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." ~ Romans 10:9

We Believe in the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers, teaches, convicts, comforts, and equips believers for holy living and service.

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." ~ Acts 1:8
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" ~ 1 Corinthians 3:16

We Believe in the Call to Holiness and Righteous Living

We are called to live set apart lives that reflect the character and light of Christ.

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner conversation." ~ 1 Peter 1:15
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." ~ Matthew 5:16

We Believe in Sharing the Gospel and Making Disciples

The Great Commission is our mission - to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations....teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."~ Matthew 28:19-20
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believers..."~ Romans 1:16

We Believe in the Body of Christ - the Church

We are united as one body with many members, each called to love, serve, and operate in our gifts.

"Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular."~ - 1 Corinthians 12:27
"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith...Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...."~ Hebrews 10:23-25

We Believe We Are Called, Chosen, and Crowned

We are royalty - daughters and sons of the King - walking in divine purpose and identity.

"Many are called, but few are chosen."~ Matthew 22:14
"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people...."~ 1 Peter 2:9
"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."~ Romans 8:37

Our Declaration

We believe Jesus Christ is the hope for every heart, the healer of every wound, and the only answer for this world. We stand united in faith, crowned with purpose, and committed to living boldly for him.
